I feel like I say this on every weekend roundup post, but there is SO. FREAKING. MUCH. going on this weekend, so much so that we’re splitting our roundup into two parts. There really is something going on for everyone tonight, so live a little and get to a gig!

Get ready to rage tonight with hardcore legends Agnostic Front, supported by locals Embrace the HostilityThe Filthy LowdownDead On The Streets. Music starts at 7pm, but you’re gonna want to start drinking earlier so you can really destroy in the pit.

Virginia hardcore band Majority Rule has reunited after 13 years and is swinging by Pittsburgh on their welcome back tour. They’re being joined by Soul Glo from Philly, Multicult from Baltimore, and LIFES from Milwaukee. Don’t miss it!

You get the grungy indie rock of Atlanta’s World’s Greatest Dad, plus a plethora of fantastic locals: Hearken, Soft Girl, Serpentine (solo), and The Childlike Empress. This bill definitely has something for everyone.

Metal fans, look no further: you already know you’ll be spending all day Saturday at the Descendants of Crom festival, so kick off your weekend and get in the mood with some acoustic tunes from awesome locals Holy RivalsSolarburn, the Long HuntJakeTheHawk, and Motometer.

  • #FBF@BBT [8pm // Bloomfield Bridge Tavern // 21+ // donation]

We’re rapidly approaching the final days of the Bloomfield Bridge Tavern, so pull up a stool, grab some pierogies, and turn your clocks back to 2007 for a reunion-filled throwback show featuring Guyliners, Stuck in Standby, Bridgley Moore, On Vinyl, and Benchwarmer. The evening will be hosted/kicked off by Coleton Reigal and proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood.

Awesome Erie venue Bobby’s Place is going out with a bang tonight, as they’re hosting one final show with a rad lineup. Acts including Maniacal DeviceBlack Moon MistressMala Sangre,  Planet Claire, Night Jar, and Pittsburgh’s own Crooked Cobras.

An all-female artist showcase featuring music and spoken word. Performers tonight include Jenny Morgan (Americana), Joanna Lowe (spoken word), Liss Victory (acoustic rock), and Jasmine Tate (soul folk). The Girlie Show is a Pittsburgh institution, running for four years, created and coordinated by women and performers. Support women in the arts!

It’s a live band. You sing karaoke. Presumably with the help of plenty of PBR (free if you sing!). Don’t pass up this chance to be a star! Or at least impress that cute girl/guy you’ve been eyeing. Or maybe just make a fool of yourself ¯_(ツ)_/¯
